Each AmeriPlans design includes a detailed set of construction drawings. While the exact sheets vary by plan, most packages contain the following.
Typical Plan Sheets
Exterior Elevations
Display the building's exterior from all sides β front, rear, and sides β showing windows, doors, roof slopes, and exterior materials such as siding, brick, or stone.
Floor Plans
Show the home as if viewed from above, including walls, room dimensions, windows, doors, and other key interior layout details.
Foundation Plan
Present a top view of footings, foundation walls, posts, beams, and load-bearing walls required for the home's structural support.
Electrical Plan
Identify the type and location of lighting fixtures, switches, and outlets throughout the home.
Miscellaneous Construction Details
Include key construction sections and notes such as wall sections, framing details, stair details, or other clarifying diagrams.

Not Typically Included With Our Plans

Q: Do your plans come stamped by an architect or engineer?
A: No. Stock house plans are not stamped. They are designed to meet generally accepted national codes, but your local municipality may require review and stamping by a licensed architect or structural engineer. Always verify local requirements before construction. CAD files may be required if local modification or stamping is necessary.
